Complete a
Step-by-Step Tutorial
- Build a Goldsoft database from scratch via a Tutorial.
- This tutorial is designed to allow you to try before you buy!
Goldsoft code can be viewed without restriction. You will be able to
add your look and feel to the database if you wish.
- Allow one to two hours to complete.
Before downloading tutorial, complete the following steps:
1) Create a folder on your C drive called goldsoft
2) In the C:\goldsoft folder, create another two folders i)
development ii)
documentation.
3) Download the file goldsoft.zip to the folder C:\goldsoft\development.
Unzip the file goldsoft.zip (4 files)
4) Download the file goldsoft_doco.zip to the folder C:\goldsoft\documentation.
Unzip goldsoft_doco.zip (5 files)

a Goldsoft Database Now
- Download this basic multi-user database if you would like trial a
Goldsoft prepared database without completing the tutorial.
- Download both files. The Goldsoft documentation for the tutorial
explains step by step how the acme.mdb was created. For ease of use
the tables are not split into another database.
- The Developer controls the actual look and feel of the database. In
this case we have gone with a simple theme of grey, blue and white.
